Return & Refund Policy
This Return & Refund Policy explains how Upsell Wholesale handles return requests, damaged or incorrect products, shortages and approved refunds for wholesale orders.
Because we sell products on a wholesale basis and may source, reserve or prepare inventory specifically for a customer, all sales are considered final unless a claim qualifies under this policy or another arrangement is confirmed in writing.
This policy should be read together with our Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy and any terms included in the applicable quotation, invoice, purchase order or written agreement.
1. Inspecting Your Delivery
Customers are responsible for inspecting each shipment promptly after delivery.
Before accepting or unpacking a shipment, please check:
- The number of cartons, cases, pallets or units received
- Whether the packaging shows signs of damage, tampering or moisture
- Whether product names, quantities and variations match the packing slip
- Expiration dates, lot codes and product condition, where applicable
Visible freight damage or shortages should be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt or bill of lading before the shipment is accepted.
Signing for a shipment without noting visible damage may affect the ability to submit a successful carrier claim.
2. Reporting Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Products
Claims involving damaged products, incorrect items or missing quantities must generally be reported within three business days of delivery.
Claims involving perishable or temperature-sensitive products should be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Send the claim to info@upsellwholesale.com and include:
- Customer or company name
- Order, invoice or purchase-order number
- Product name, quantity and SKU or UPC, where available
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs or videos of the affected products
- Photographs of the shipping carton, pallet and carrier label
- A copy of the packing slip or delivery receipt
- Relevant lot codes, expiration dates or serial numbers
Please retain all products, packaging and shipping materials until the claim has been reviewed. Discarding products or packaging before authorization may affect claim eligibility.
3. Products Eligible for Review
A replacement, credit or refund may be considered when:
- Upsell Wholesale shipped an incorrect product
- The quantity received differs from the confirmed order
- Products arrived materially damaged
- Products were materially defective at the time of delivery
- The shipment does not materially match the approved purchase order
- A remedy is otherwise required by applicable law
Submitting a claim does not automatically guarantee approval. Each claim is reviewed based on the order records, product condition, supporting evidence and applicable supplier or carrier requirements.
4. No Returns or Refunds After Shipment
Once an order has been shipped or handed over to a carrier, it is considered final and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
This applies even if:
- The products remain unopened
- The customer changes their mind
- The customer ordered an incorrect product or quantity
- Amazon, Walmart or another marketplace rejects an approval or ungating request
- A listing becomes restricted, removed or suppressed
- Product demand, pricing, competition or expected profitability changes
- The customer no longer requires the inventory
Limited exceptions may be considered only when:
- Upsell Wholesale shipped an incorrect product
- The delivered quantity differs from the confirmed order
- Products arrive materially damaged
- A refund, replacement or other remedy is required by applicable law
All claims must be reported within the applicable timeframe and supported by the documentation required under this policy. Submitting a claim does not guarantee a refund.
5. Non-Returnable Products
Unless required by law or caused by an error attributable to Upsell Wholesale, the following products are non-returnable:
- Special-order or customer-requested inventory
- Products sourced specifically for a customer
- Products labelled, bundled, packaged or prepared for FBA, WFS or another fulfilment channel
- Opened, used, altered or damaged products
- Grocery, food, beverages or other consumable products
- Health, wellness, supplement or personal-care products
- Opened beauty products or products with broken seals
- Pet food, pet supplements or consumable pet products
- Perishable, refrigerated, frozen or temperature-sensitive products
- Short-dated products disclosed before purchase
- Clearance, liquidation, closeout or final-sale merchandise
- Hazardous or restricted products
- Products without their original packaging or identification labels
- Products damaged through improper handling, storage or transportation after delivery
- Products identified as non-returnable on the quotation, invoice or purchase order
Products returned without written authorization may be refused, returned to the customer or held at the customer’s expense.
6. Marketplace Eligibility and Product Performance
Products cannot be returned or refunded because:
- Amazon, Walmart or another marketplace rejects an ungating or approval request
- A seller is unable to list or sell a product
- A category, brand, ASIN or listing remains restricted
- A marketplace requests additional invoices or supply-chain documentation
- A listing is removed, suppressed or suspended
- The selling price, sales rank, demand, competition or expected profitability changes
- A customer orders an incorrect product or quantity
- Inventory does not achieve an expected return on investment
Marketplace approval and product performance are controlled by third parties and cannot be guaranteed by Upsell Wholesale.
Customers are responsible for confirming product eligibility, restrictions and business suitability before approving an order.
7. Return Authorization for Approved Claims
No product should be returned without written authorization from Upsell Wholesale.
Return authorization may be issued only for an approved incorrect, missing, damaged or legally eligible product claim.
If a return is authorized, we will provide instructions and, where applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
Authorized returns must:
- Be shipped within the timeframe stated in the authorization
- Include the applicable authorization number
- Be packaged securely to prevent additional damage
- Include all original packaging and documentation
- Be sent to the return address provided by our team
The return address may differ from the original shipping location. Products sent to an unauthorized address may not be accepted.
8. Return Shipping Costs
If a return is authorized because Upsell Wholesale shipped an incorrect product or because the product arrived damaged due to an issue attributable to us, we may provide a return label or reimburse reasonable, approved return-shipping costs.
Customers should not arrange a return shipment without receiving written instructions.
Upsell Wholesale is not responsible for unauthorized return-shipping costs. Original shipping and completed preparation charges are generally non-refundable unless the approved claim resulted from an Upsell Wholesale error or applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Inspection of Authorized Returns
All authorized returns are subject to inspection.
A refund, replacement or credit may be reduced or denied if:
- Products are used, opened or additionally damaged
- Items or quantities are missing
- Packaging, seals, barcodes or labels have been removed or altered
- Products were not packaged securely
- The return was shipped after the authorized deadline
- The condition differs from the information provided in the claim
- The claim cannot be verified from the supplied evidence
- Products cannot reasonably be returned to the supplier
We will notify the customer after the authorized return has been reviewed.
10. Available Resolutions
Depending on the circumstances, an approved claim may be resolved through:
- Replacement of the affected product
- Shipment of verified missing units
- Account credit
- Partial refund
- Full refund for the eligible affected products
The appropriate resolution will depend on product availability, the nature of the claim, supplier or carrier requirements and applicable law.
11. Refund Eligibility and Processing
Refunds are available only when:
- A cancellation is approved before the order is processed
- Upsell Wholesale cancels an order or an unfulfilled portion of an order
- An incorrect, missing or materially damaged shipment claim is reviewed and approved
- A refund is otherwise required by applicable law
No refund will be provided after an order has shipped solely because the customer no longer wants the products, cannot sell them, receives an unfavorable marketplace decision or does not achieve an expected financial result.
When a refund is approved:
- It will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method
- Bank-transfer or alternative-payment refunds may require account verification
- The refund will generally be initiated within 7–10 business days after approval, or sooner where required by law
- The customer’s bank or payment provider may require additional processing time
- Only the approved products, quantities or unfulfilled portion will be refunded
- Completed shipping, preparation, labelling, packaging and handling charges are generally non-refundable
Customers will be notified after an approved refund has been initiated.
12. Orders Cancelled Before Shipment
Requests to cancel an order before shipment are governed by our Cancellation Policy.
An order is not considered cancelled until Upsell Wholesale provides written confirmation.
If Upsell Wholesale cancels an unfulfilled order because the products are unavailable or the order cannot be completed, the customer will receive a refund for the cancelled and unfulfilled portion.
13. Paid Seller-Support Fees
Payments for ungating support, account reinstatement, document review, consultation or other customized seller-support work are governed by the applicable proposal, invoice or written agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Upfront and non-refundable fees cannot be refunded once work has started
- Completed research, document review, case analysis or appeal preparation constitutes work performed
- Amazon, Walmart and other marketplaces make all final decisions
- Approval, reinstatement, listing activation or funds release cannot be guaranteed
- An unfavorable marketplace decision does not qualify the customer for a refund
14. Manufacturer Warranties
Certain products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
Where applicable, warranty claims may need to be submitted directly to the manufacturer. Upsell Wholesale may provide available purchasing information to support an eligible warranty claim but cannot guarantee the manufacturer’s decision.
16. Policy Changes
Upsell Wholesale may update this Return & Refund Policy to reflect changes in our products, suppliers, operations or legal obligations.
The version in effect when an order was accepted will generally apply to that transaction, unless a change is required by law.
